The Sierra Suite
Our B&B consists of the Sierra Suite, a spacious apartment style, two levelled B&B in its own wing of the house that has a private, separate entry. Suitable for singles to families, this cozy and comfortable oasis in the country provides complete privacy and seclusion without having to share space with others.
The Sierra suite consist of two bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom upstairs adjoining the main king bedroom. The suite will welcome four guests comfortably with an option for a fifth guest on the rollaway bed.
The upper level consists of a main entry, the kitchenette boasting the following features for your comfortable stay:
air conditioner- microwave
- table & chairs
- butcher block mobile island with a professional flat top induction burner
- sink & counter area
- tea kettle & coffee machine
- dishes, cutlery & kitchen utensils including a pizza cutter, corkscrew & crystal wine glasses
- snacks - the stocked fridge & kitchen area with continental breakfast items
- cookies, coffee cake, microwave popcorn, snack bars and more.
- Disposable forks, spoons as well as Glad Wrap for your use
- Hair dryer, toiletries & fluffy robes
- New... bistro table & chairs
Upstairs you'll find an oversized king bed with a 4-piece en suite bathroom. There's a patio door with table and chairs to enjoy the view of Mount Cheam above. Or enjoy the view of the forest and yards through screened windows. Two closets are in the room to stow your belongings.
Other goodies you'll find in the main living area are:
- A CD player & mood music
- Wireless Internet connection (upper level only)
- A desk-like dresser to work on
- An electric fireplace with heat control for a romantic ambiance
- Rollaway bed and fold out travel crib
The lower level boasts a new carpet with:
a cozy free-standing fireplace with heat control- an electric heater
- DVD/TV combo with satellite TV
- a good variety of videos, DVD's & CD's for your enjoyment
- a small library of books, games & children's videos & toys
A second bedroom is available for extra guests or family members. There is a double and twin bed (but no bathroom), a hanging IDEA swivel mirror and clothes/shoe rack for your convenience. Robes and slippers are provided, along with toiletries, hair dryer and other necessities, all available in the main bathroom upstairs.
We are a "green bed & breakfast" where we try to recycle and re-use towels. We use green products and less fragrance. We buy organic when possible and locally during the growing seasons. We also buy with a mind to helping promote "fair trade" to support the local and global economy.
